2023 HIGHLIGHTS
A look back at an incredible wedding season for Rebecca Marie and the team.
2023 was a year of weaving unique design briefs into unforgettable weddings across many destinations. From Bali's jungle vows to Tuscan villas, we'll whisk you through Moroccan palaces and fairytale chateau ceremonies in Provence. Prepare for a glimpse into the the magic we had the honour of creating – once in a lifetime weddings and celebrations, unique to our beautiful clients.
We started our season in January in beautiful Bali, chasing waterfalls and sunsets at the incredible Ayana Resort and Hanging Gardens in Ubud before returning back to the Cotswolds for a special winter wedding for A & M.
February saw us orchestrating a timeless London love story at the iconic Fitzrovia Chapel, where early spring blooms danced against the intricate details of the chapel. Then, we traded the city streets for glaciers and dramatic landscapes, venturing to the breathtaking Iceland to capture editorial content.
Our 2023 journey took us to many of the UK's most stunning venues and a first time visit to St Giles House, a 17th-century gem in Dorset with sun-dappled libraries and sprawling gardens. Here we created a wild, spring-inspired ceremony set up.
We were welcomed back to London with textured decor cascading around circular tables and a romantic first look on a balcony overlooking the iconic St Pauls cathedral before returning to one of our favourites, Euridge Manor, to shoot some editorial content.
The highlight of our trip to Glemham Hall in Norfolk was this gorgeous L-shaped table before we travelled to Puglia to host the first of our Apulian Wedding Workshops in May at Castello Monaci.
As featured in The Lane here.
Back in the UK, we orchestrated a multi-day celebration for an amazing couple at the iconic Kin House in Wiltshire. The cozy Hearth Room set the scene for the welcome dinner, while the wedding itself boasted an overgrown organic and whimsical style, see more here.
Our next Bride lived out her childhood dream of having an Italian wedding and focus was entirely on living in the moment, good food and intimate vibes. With effortlessly chic styling and one of our favourite bridal looks of the year!
Simply stunning Aswarby, a venue we couldn't wait to get creative in! Frothy florals, playful pool balloons and modern accents for a celebration that was all party! A few days later we headed back to Italy for the third time in May; this time to the city of Rome for a show-stopping multi-day celebration of love.
A welcome event above the Pantheon and a wedding with the most incredible view of Vatican City; this wedding had it all and we cannot wait to be back at Villa Miami in 2024 for more magic!
See more of the details here.
We set sail for the sun-kissed shores of Ibiza next, landing at the incredible Casa Meyer. The clean modern lines make it the perfect stage for an unforgettable event, paired with a sunset boat trip the evening before does it get much more Ibiza than this?
H & J wanted a fun, yet polished, wedding in the countryside of Cornwall that encompassed their personality and personal style throughout. Great food, out of the box entertainment and a muted colour palette were things we focused on in order to bring this next celebration to life at Boconnoc House. See more here.
The South Devon sunshine greeted us for our second June wedding, a St Tropez-inspired stunner at a private estate boasting an insane River view. With the year's hottest day delivering Riviera-worthy heat, flowing fabrics and a pop-up champagne bar were a necessity!
We started July at Hamswell House for an energetic and bold Jewish celebration complete with bespoke bar and lots of pink, before we flew to Provence for an extremely hot, intimate Chateau wedding!
See Hamswell published in Together Magazine here.
We whisked back to the UK and embraced the rolling Cotswolds, weaving a Tuscan dream for clients turned dear friends. Their celebration brimmed with overflowing olive foliages and soft fabrics, while the bride's breathtaking look stole the show.
You guessed it, we then flew back to Italy and this time to Tuscany's rolling hills and our beloved town of Pienza which provided the perfect backdrop for one of the most heartfelt celebrations of the year.
Core memories were made under the Tuscan sun that weekend - see them all here.
August came to a close with a textural explosion at Middleton Lodge in Yorkshire with florals to die for, bathed in the golden hues of late summer sun.
Our biggest wedding of the year unfolded at the legendary La Mamounia Hotel, Marrakech. Just days before, an earthquake shook the city, but our team defied the odds, and delivered a multi-day celebration that redefined luxury for 250 guests flown in from around the globe.
Rooftop drinks kicked off the festivities, followed by a wedding day that beautifully blended Moroccan and Western traditions in a whirlwind of energy. And for the finale? A desert party in Agafay that channeled Burning Man, leaving everyone breathless.
Our whirlwind year finally drew to a close with a trio of editorial shoots. Candlelit Euridge bathed in ethereal glow, Puglia's sun-kissed shores offered one last taste of summer, and finally, Lake Garda and Venice serenaded us with their timeless beauty. Our creative cups were full as we closed the curtain on a magnificent year of weddings and adventures.
And so, our year of love stories, from Tuscan sunsets to Marrakech nights, comes to a close. We hope you've enjoyed this journey with us.
