When Exeter Chiefs and England rugby star Jack Nowell married his childhood sweetheart Zoe, it was always going to be a celebration filled with so much laughter and lashings of fun!
Due to their busy schedules we helped to plan their wedding in a really short space of time with the couple choosing a wedding venue close to home - Upton Barn. Boasting bucket loads of Devonian charm with modern and considered touches throughout it was perfect for their celebration and to top it off the April sun shone on them all day long.
Zoe wowed in a Made With Love fitted gown and veil complimented with a bouquet overflowing with fluffy textures.
Outside Grace Smith Florals created an asymmetric archway for the ceremony space consisting of several varieties of roses, syringa, ranunculus and cherry blossom while Bridesmaid’s wowed in champagne gowns paired with a trio of modern roses.
The ceremony was a tear-jerker, filled with personal touches throughout including the couple’s own vows - Finished with an epic confetti gauntlet!
When it came to the design plan Zoe and Jack knew they wanted a neutral and muted palette, they wanted to add luxe to the rustic venue spaces with black accents and wow factor - We went with their brief and ran with it with full creative freedom.
Mia Sylvia brought a dramatic fabric installation to life over the dining space, paired with frothy florals from Grace Smith and contemporary stationery from Gray Starling - A match made in wedding styling heaven.
This day was filled with so much fun, in true rugby player fashion paired with an overflowing amount of love and as the saying goes, the rest is history!
